Do you have a home office?
So many of us are working from home these days. If you’re anything like me, truly living your best elastic waistband life, then you love it. But it can be difficult to get down to business when you don’t have a home office space that promotes clear thinking and productivity.
As the new year begins, many of us are jotting down goals, clearing out clutter and hoping to bring more intention to our everyday tasks. Having a home office is almost a necessity for most and today I am so excited to share 3 Elements of the Perfect Home Office and a beautiful home office reveal.
My amazing client Gina reached out to me when her coaching business was starting to take off and she wanted an updated home office that reflected her style. Gina works primarily as a neonatologist but also supports physicians through coaching and consulting. (I can also attest that she is a super mom, wife and friend.) In honor of the epic 80’s hit “Tell It To My Heart” by Taylor Dayne, I want you to think about how you want to feel in a space you will be spending the majority of your day.
Do bright colors leave you feeling excited and energized? Are you a more productive worker when there is no visual clutter and calm neutral tones?
Decide how you want to feel, what supports that and make that intention in your space.
(This is exactly what we will walk through with clients during their in-home consultations. Learn more here.)
The office is one of the most utilitarian spaces in your home. You need that space to #werk.
