It is such a gift to work with clients on E Design projects. My clients are all over the country and with the limitless capabilities modern technology offers us, there’s not much we can’t do with e design.
Sally is an acquaintance from Denver that reached out last year for an e design package. She had relocated to Nashville with her beautiful family and purchased a stunning home. Sally has a great eye (former photographer) and killer style. She loves modern, boho spaces and wanted to infuse that into her entryway. One of her favorite designers is Amber Interiors
Sally really wanted to spruce up her entryway. Foyers are so important. After seeing your home, they are the first hello into your precious space. Elevating your entryway has a way of elevating the entire home. For many of us, it is often one of those places that get the least TLC. It’s kind of like when you finally upgrade your old undies. You finally splurge and think WHAT HAVE I BEEN WAITING FOR? What a difference!
Like stated earlier, Sally loves a modern boho feel. She wanted:
I decided to pull together a variety of pictures that had a modern boho feel with a really light and beautiful color palette. This was my first project with Sally and I really wanted to make sure we were on the same page for her vision.
After pulling together her mood board, I found this pictures from House Seven Design that we both loved. It was the perfect modern boho entryway.
Once we decided that was the exact direction we wanted to take this space, pulling items was a blast. It was just a matter of sourcing a lot of earthy and cream toned pieces: carved bowl, wicker basket, faux eucalyptus. And no console table is really complete without a set of coffee table books. Once the design board was approved, I sent over her itemized list for ordering. Easy as that!
A major focus for Sally was getting a beautiful piece of art for the space. I pulled together 2 options that would have a piece of art and a textured wall hanging (woven baskets or macrame). Additionally, the other options are two single large scale pieces of art that would really be the focal point of the room.
E Design is such a great way to give a new space a refresh. This entryway was no different and the best part? Sally was very happy with her experience. A happy client, makes for a happy Ettie.
“Eteanette was such a dream to work with. She quickly figured out my style and gave me the best foyer one could think of. She gave me a great amount of options to choose from so if I wanted to go a little cheaper on something and splurge on another item, I can! Ete communicated with me throughout the whole process and really made sure I was happy. I couldn’t think of anyone better to work with. I will definitely be hiring her again for other rooms in my house!”

So the real question is, how can I help you? What space in your home leaves you wanting more? Do you have a foyer that is not packing the pa-ZAZZ? A living room that has been a little too lived in?
Well, then. It’s time to get moving!
